"More Than Words" is a ballad written and originally performed by rock band Extreme. It is built around intricate acoustic guitar work by Nuno Bettencourt and the vocals of Gary Cherone (with harmony vocals from Bettencourt), it was released in 1990 on the album Extreme II: Pornograffiti. The song was a departure from the funk metal that had permeated the band's style previous to its release. On March 23, 1991, "More Than Words" entered the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 81 and soon after reached number one. It also reached number two in the UK Singles Chart, where the group had had success before its American breakthrough. Though they had made a few European charts before, this brought the band to their first mainstream success in the United States. Extreme followed "More Than Words" with another power ballad, "Hole-Hearted," which was slightly faster paced than "More Than Words," but nevertheless topped at number 4 in the United States.
Meagan Monique Good (born August 8, 1981) is an American film and television actress.
Good was born in Panorama City, California. Good began her acting career at the age of four when she began appearing in commercials. By age 10, Good was landing roles on television series including Gabriel's Fire, Nickelodeon's Cousin Skeeter, and On Our Own. Her breakout role came in 1997 with the film, Eve's Bayou.
Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, she continued to land roles in television series and films. In addition to film and television work, Good has also appeared in music videos by Will Smith, 50 Cent, K-Ci & JoJo, and the R&B group Isyss (her older sister, LaMyia Good, is a member).

That same year, she appeared in Waist Deep with Tyrese Gibson and produced her first film, Miles From Home, in which she also co-starred. The following year, she landed a role in the drama Stomp the Yard, alongside Columbus Short and Ne-Yo. In 2007, Good began production on the Mike Meyer's film, The Love Guru,[4]. In 2008 she appeared in the horror film One Missed Call. She has stated that she considers herself very spritual, and will not do roles she feels will disappoint God.
I was on a show on the WB with Bob Saget called Raising Dad and I'd just come off a Nickledeon show I'd done for three or four years. Terrance Howard is a good friend of mine and I ran into him not too long before that, he was working on Sparks at the time, and he was kind of sad and depressed and he said to me, "I'm going to give you some of the best advice." I said, "Okay." He said, "When you get off this show, don't do another show until you're a little older and more settled and are thinking about having kids." I asked him why and he said, "Because you want to play different characters and travel and do different things while you can. When you're ready to be settled and play the same character and go to work in the same place everyday and be in that contract for years, that's when you settle for your family. Aside from that, go, be free and have fun and test yourself as an actor and expand your craft." It was the best advise, yes, but at the time the SAG strike was going on, so I accepted another show, which was this one with Bob Saget. Then a movie came along and I hadn't done a movie since Eve's Bayou, when I was fifteen. At the time I was nineteen going on twenty. The movie was Deliver Us from Eva. I wanted to do this movie so badly, but everyone kept telling me, you're too young and the girl's supposed to be married, don't go in for it, just give it a break, you're making great money on the show, there will be other movies and this won't pay you anything. But I knew that I wanted to be in film.
