Bay Area Video Coalition, or BAVC (pronounced "bay-vac") is a nonprofit media arts center located in San Francisco, CA. BAVC was launched in 1976 as a way to make emerging video technology accessible to independent mediamakers. Today, with that mission still at its core, BAVC has evolved into a media arts organization that serves public media producers, media artists, media professionals, at-risk youth, and other non-profit organizations.
