My name is Dijon Blanchard. I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am A hardcore gamer/anime/music lover, with the goal in life to become the world's next great Manga artist/Anime/special effects artist. (I know I have many goals, lol)

I have been playing guitar for around 8 or 9 years. I may not seem like the best guitarist alive, but thats because I learn songs by ear and have had no formal training at all. I play guitar for me only, I play guitar to unwind and it makes me happy. I write music but know one ever hears it because I am very critical of myself and never like my end result, so I scrap songs when they are done. I know it seems like a waste but I just can't bare to listen to my own creations, I am always thinkning "This sucks". I played the piano before the guitar, but when I played my first song on guitar (All the small things by blink182) I was hooked. My mom made me learn a whole song on guitar before she would buy me one. Luckily my favorite music teacher in middle school (Mr. Harris) lent me one of the schools Acoustic guitars so I could learn.

I played Viola in my middle school orchestra. My orchestra was my favorite class. I loved my Viola because it was unique. Also there was only one other viola player in our group, she and I made up an unstoppable viola duo (even though we were only average players, lol). Everyone wanted to play violin, but I wanted something else. I hopped around on instruments, because my music teacher wouldn't let me play the piano parts in the songs. I went from bass to cello to viola in a matter of a few weeks. Lugging around the bass and cello wreaked havoc on my back, so I switched to viola just for that reason, lol. Back then I could read sheet music pretty well, and the cello and viola read the same, so it was an easy switch. I Performed in a few concerts with my class orchestra, and those were some of my favorite years of my life. If anyone was in that class with me (at Lincoln Center of the Arts middle school), contact me or something , *sniff sniff*, cause I miss my old friends from middle school.
