Glad to hear that you loved Black Dots! It is so raw and loud and nasty, the way punk rock and roll should be! I have a pretty insane knowledge of punk rock and roll/hardcore/DIY music + the collection to match if you need anything. Have you ever heard the first Electric Eels 45? Betong Hysteria's 45? Massmedia? Typhus? Beyond the Implode? Take care.

Regarding the Stiff Little Fingers- Suspect Device 45 and the Peel Sessions. I agree with you, but I go back and forth. The first Stiff Little Fingers I ever heard was the Peel Sessions LP. It is absolutely amazing! And I heard the single much later. I think that the single just has that new glossy sheen for me. Both are incredible pieces of sound. I don't care for the Inflammable Material LP. How could I after I heard the Peel stuff first?!?! It's funny, but the first Bad Brains LP is genius and I have always loved it, but when I heard The Black Dots LP, holy shit. The greatest blast of punk rock and roll I have yet to hear! Kudos on your Pop Will Eat Itself background! Best. Skol.
