Super Robot Wars World

I'm glad that I can finally post this video after trying a couple of times this past week.

Not as fun as I expected, mainly because there is not much story going on for many series, especially Gundam Wing - they are here mainly because of Gundam OO. The story drags way too long so then they can make the sequel.

Collected all the SR points, which becomes the only challenge I have while playing SRWZ2. Look forward playing 第2次スーパーロボット大戦Z 再世篇.

This is the reason that I am playing this game - Gundam OO. I will make a final video for all series other than Gundam in Part 4, including Macross Frontier. I am one stage away from finishing the game, so it should not take very long...

Man this game is pretty boring - only focus on its original story, a lot of robots have no story at all.

BTW, I have collected all SR points so far...that's probably the only fun part about this game lol

I still haven't finish the game, but I think it's ok to post the first part...

This game is much much better than OG and MX, in terms of game play and graphics. LOVE the battle background and how it integrates with the moves.

I picked the real route, now at stage 54 (if route)....I really hope I can finish this game this year and post the 2nd part soon. But I will go back to the "original route" and play against Shin using Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice (just for fun)

This clip includes a lot of bad guys, which are not seen in a lot of other youtube clips. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Also, just to clarify, I did collect ALL of SR points so far....it's very challenging but it's super fun!

Still playing Z... 5 stages left, hope I can finish the game asap.

Finally completed Z after 7/8 long months.

I picked the "if" route and got ALL the SR points... I find the final 4, 5 stages are very easy to complete, after being stuck at the Z/Destiny final stage (i.e. stage 55) for almost 3/4 months.

Overall this game is pretty good, great graphics in PS2 standards, extremely detailed battle scenes and great use of the rotating background. It's hard to get some of the SR points, I got frustrated a couple of times, but overall it is a great game to play (way better than OG series)

Because I picked the "if" route, I did not get the chance to record battle scenes b/w Justice vs. Destiny... I will do something about it.

Some website indicates SRWZ 2 will be out and will be on PS2. I find it amazing that PS2 can last for almost 10 years!

I might not play SRWZ 2...I just don't think I have the time, effort and passion to play SRWZ anymore....So this might be my last SRW game. Enjoy~!

Well, it's nice to have this special disc around, where you can "design" battle scenes. Just made a couple of clips that can show some of the special moves, and some of the moves I didn't record while playing Z.

Remake of GBA's OG, pretty fun and easy game to play. Took me around 2 months to finish (yes I don't have much time to play a game nowadays). One of the main reason I played this game is b/c of Cybuster and Granzon (and also Masaki and Shiu of course) and this game doesn't disappoint me one bit.

I did record attacks for other robots such as R-2, R-3 and R-Gun....but b/c i will play OG2 in a bit, I will include those attacks in OG2.

The storyline of OG include the original SRW 2 and a bit of alpha...Banpresto just keeps recycling old storylines and convert them to new games.

Look forward to play SRW OG2, hopefully I can finish the game in December...

I spent around a month to complete this game.

Again, a lot of "recycling" by Banpresto. The "inspector incident" is just a carbon copy from the 3rd super robot wars i played years ago in Super Famicom.

Stage 22 "星から来るもの" was pretty fun, because you have the opportunity to beat グレイターキン (HP 150000), グレイターキン (HP 110000) and ドルーキン (HP 190000) using only 4 units (ゲシュペンスト, ゲシュペンストMkII・タイプR, ヴァルシオーネ and ヒリュウ改). That stage was extremely fun and i took like 70 something rounds to complete (which were way more than i originally thought).

In this clip, I've included more real robots than OG1, and some of the map attacks (both sides). I hope this clip captures most of the special attacks of the game, and it's in HQ too! Other OG clips on Youtube don't seem to have that high quality (and long) clip for SRW OG2. Hope you enjoy the 53-minutes of non-stop action!

I'm working on 2.5, so hopefully i will be posting another clip sooner rather than later. After that I might take a break (again) but will eventually start playing OG Gaiden and Z...

over 100 stages, finally i finished OG1, OG2 and OG Gaiden. the moves in this game are getting ridiculous....one move can basically destroy the whole galaxy..hahaha

Originally I was gonna post both 2.5 and OG Gaiden; but then i realized 2.5 story is also included in OG Gaiden (btw, what a ripoff, need to replay the first 13 stages....ugh), so then i just combined the 2 games in 1 video

The final boss is Neo Granzon again!!! ugh....Banpresto is running out of ideas....

One thing i've noticed....OG videos have way less views than other SRW series (e.g. alpha and Z)...

Hope i can start playing Z soon....

First of the 4 SRW Alpha series, and first ever SD SRW game in motion.

It was a big upgrade from all the previous SRW games. All the battle scenes are still very entertaining in today's standards. The game is relatively easy and covers a lot of stories from different robot animes. Evangelion, SRX and Lord of Elementals are back, and added Macross and Macross Plus was a smart move too.

This clip is pretty long, almost 50 minutes. The battle scenes are in sequence as the game moves on, which is different from my cousin's clip (you can check out his YouTube site - http://www.youtube.com/gameedit). I only played once, using real robot route, so I do not have any robots only for super robot route.

Part of the reason I recorded this in the year 2000 is because I won't be able to spend time on it again, so might as well record the game and watch it whenever I can.

This game was much harder to play than the first SRW Alpha, especially the last few stages. Special attacks had minial damage, and most of them cost a lot of EN. With a lot of enemies having HP higher than 30 to 40k, it's a toughie beating them, saving EN as much as possible and still have a chance to beat the final boss.

This game also features Turn A Gundam and Gundam X series. These two Gundam series might be the least popular, but I found them fun to play with. Yes, Turn A Gundam is special, but I like it more and more, and with its special attack "Moonlight Butterfly" vs Turn X Gundam, it's actually pretty neat.

The game also remade attacks of YF-19, YF-21, and added the rest of the Lord of Elemental robots.

First SRW game which groups can be formed. Combination attacks can also be used, and the graphics is a lot better than the first SRW game on PS2 (SRW Impact).

I chose the real robot route (again) so for those of you who want to see robots in super robot routes, sorry...

I truly thought this was the last SRW alpha game because we killed almost all of the enemies. But apparently, they made SRW alpha 3 two years later. I still haven't play the game yet (I hope I can do that in 2007) so I tried to ignore watching all alpha 3 clips on YouTube. haha...

In terms of Gundam, this game features Crossbone Gundam. Their attacks are not as good as I thought, but the ones for Gundam F91 are so awesome...

第3次スーパーロボット大戦α

Part 1 of 2 SRW Alpha 3 clips

After spending more than 4 months playing it, I finally finished it...I think this game is the worst of the 4 Alpha games, only because the story is very scattered...

The game is not hard, and we can finally use Gundam Seed robots, and that's pretty much the only reason I played this game. However, I'm very disappointed with the moves..(Kira is pretty much unbeatable in the game though).

SRW Alpha 3 has a lot of robots from different series, and some of them don't even have their storyline...it's just odd (e.g. all other Gundam besides Seed, original Macross series...etc). The existance of Virtual ON is pretty useless.

The first clip features most of Gundam Seed story up until the appearance of Freedom and Justice, GaoGaigar, DanCougar, Zengar and other original robots, Macross 7 and Macross Plus (with Information High as background music!) etc...

A remake of the Famicom's SRW2, using SRW F and F Final system.

I have never played Famicom's SRW2, so this game helped me understand more about the history of SRW. The game covers the story of Gundam UC0079, and introduced Guransho and Cybuster at the end. All the robots and their attacks were very basics, and not many robots you can choose from...

A remake of the Super Famicom SRW3, using SRW F and F Final system.

This game is my all-time SRW favorite. This is where the trilogy of Super Robot Wars begins.

The game is not easy to play. It only has 30 something stages, but each stage has its uniqueness. The 4 bosses were very strong and very hard to play against, and the story continues to SRW EX, SRW 4 and all the way to SRW F and F Final.

This clip shows some of the robots that other SRW games don't have, and some attacks I find interesting.

I also added the original SFC SRW3 secret stage (you need to finish the game under 317 rounds...it's almost impossible but I know some ppl have done it).

EX has 3 stories, and I love playing the hardest one without using the HP65535 Shin Guransho. It was hard yet very fun...

The game setting is the same as Lord of Elemental. Lord of Elemental actually cross-over with EX, SRW3 and SRW4...The first half of that game covers the story before SRW2, and the 2nd half covers the story after SRW4.

A big part of my childhood memories....

I do not have the SFC version, simply because I lost the video and I still hope I can find it. This version is the same as the SFC one, but with better resolution and it has voices of some (not all) characters. Even though I played the SFC version like a million times, I still played this PS version

(SRW games are very addictive...!)
