I am an environmental scientist. A large part of my career has been dedicated to scientific research into the structure of ecosystems and factors that affect them. Quite early on, it became apparent that certain mathematical iterative principles formed geometries that coincided exactly with those found in natural ecosystems. And by ecosystems, I do not mean just plants and animals. The same principles also apply to quantum physics, geology, meteorology and on up to the formation of galaxies.
All of my videos are created specifically to reflect and illustrate elements of the above concepts. I find these truths to be evocative of magical wonder and I seek to convey my own sense of awe in the incomparable genius of creation in all of my work. The extent to which I succeed in accomplishing this is the extent to which I succeed.
