Hi lads,
After chatting in other posts today and over the past few weeks about scope camera shooting I have decided to do a in house video clip today (nothing special really) about scope camera shooting to give some advice and tips that I have learnt myself and picked up from fellow scope camera shooters while at the same time due a bit of advertising on YouTube for the new DVD.
As I have said before many times in different thread, unless you have tried to shoot accurately through a scope camera yourself you will not fully understand the skill that is needed to ensure firstly and most importantly,
A clean humane kill / dispatch
Followed by making
A good picture that edits well and looks good to viewers.
All the normal and instinctive shooting positions (standing, prone squatting etc) go out the window with a scope camera fitted and knee rests, palm rests and any other weird shooting position what works come into play .
Yes you can make normal shots work but only really if your range is limited to short to medium ranges and you are willing to be uncomfortable while shooting, which in turns breed inaccurate shooting.
Sorry if the clip isn't action packed; it's just a chat really where I try to explain some techniques for anyone who is interested in trying out a scope camera clip in the future in the hope that they don't make the same mistakes as I have done myself.
Before you go out though and shoot live vermin with a scope camera please do some practice first on paper and at non live targets at different heights and angles, you will be really surprised how hard it can be.
If anyone is interested in any more info please feel free to PM me and ill help all I can.

Hi lads and lasses,
Here is a bit of footage that I shot well before the snow came here.
Seeing as there has been a few comments these past couple of weeks with people suggesting that a .177 calibre rifle is more accurate that a .22, here is a BSA r10 in .22 calibre in action.
I agree the .177 parabolic trajectory is flatter than a .22, and I also agree that a .177 is easier to be accurate with more of the time than a .22 calibre rifle is as range estimation in regards to hole over and under isn't so important with a .177 as it is with .22 calibre.
But I'm still not convinced that a .177 is more accurate than a .22.
I believe there both the same and more accurate than the shooter with the .22 calibre shooter requiring a better knowledge of his rifles characteristics in regards to longer range shots and being accurate than the .177 shooter.
Please don't think I'm disrespecting .177 shooters because I also now shoot .177 and I'm not. I like .177 very much.
One mistake with a .22 in regards to range estimation though and you are likely to miss the target completely, usually over the top in my case.
Anyway I was plinking with Laura my girlfriend and decided to set up some 50 metre targets to see how the r10 performed.
This should show you the potential of a .22 calibre r10.
All 3 shots were shot as hold over shots from a scope on x14 mag with 5 mildots of holdover applied.
The zero range was 25 metres.
I don't think that ive put this footage up before, sorry if i have.
Hope you enjoy the short clip and this opens up a good debate on peoples own views on calibre and accuracy etc.
As you will see the .22 RWS Super Field pellet hits the targets very easy and its more to do with the individual that the calibre.
Once you click on the video clip change the quality from 360 to 720 HD for a better picture.

Hi everyone here is a short preview of how the 4th DVD (The Vermin Sniper) is coming on.
This is the start of the DVD, just a bit of the action throughout and the ending of the DVD so far as it evolves.
It will change but only for the better.
I hope that you enjoy it.

Hi lads,
Here is the finished review that I have been doing on the Twink Mark 2 silencer as part of my new DVD.
Some people may find the results quite surprising.
The sound metres don't lie though.
I hope that you enjoy the review.
Please feel free to leave any comments.
The test and review was done fairly and the results speak for themselves.
Anyone wanting to buy this silencer after the review please contact Davyt63 on here via PM.
Don't phone A and M Custom Gunsmiths direct.
