That is very low. I would suggest you eat around 40% Carbs, 40% Protein and 20% Fats at around 2500 calories a day. Schedule your carbs around your workouts and eat low glycemic carbs during the day and none after dinner (Just eat meat, eggs and cheese) Depending on how much weight you have to lose, you could cut back calories by 100 every month but I have no idea how much weight you have to lose. Eat perfect, train perfect, live perfect, be perfect (that's my motto) :)
