Die Woopax Welt


Um uns herum, viel weiter als wir uns vorstellen können, und viel näher als wir denken,
tanzen die Sterne und die Planeten einen kosmischen Tanz durch Zeit und Raum. Sie drehen sich, sie kreisen umeinander, sie schweben und schwingen im All.
Alles ist Schwingung, alles ist Energie. Wie eine leise und riesengroße Musik.

Von einem kleinen Planeten kommen sehr fröhliche Töne. Es ist ein winziger Planet.
Der strahlt ganz besonders hell. Er leuchtet von selber.
Nanu? Flog da eben ein Wesen vorbei und hat am Planeten gesaugt? Sah vielleicht nur so aus.
Woo! Der winzige Planet ist ja bewohnt!

Hier leben kleine, wuselige Fellwesen. Sie heißen Woopax. Es ist der Woopax-Planet. Dass er so hell leuchtet, hat einen besonderen Grund. Die Woopax freuen sich, lebendig zu sein. Sie finden es herrlich, dass sie Füße und Beine und Arme und Hände haben und von morgens bis abends auf ihrem Planeten herumtoben dürfen. Dabei erzeugen sie Energie. Aus Freude am Spiel.


All around us, farther than we imagine but closer than we think, the stars and planets are dancing a cosmic dance through time and space. They are turning, circling and vibrating through the universe. Everything is motion, everything is energy -- like soft and beautiful music.

Happy sounds are coming from a little planet. It really is a tiny planet. But it shines brightly, blazing with its own light. What? Did some strange creature just fly past it? Or did it just seem like it? Woo! The planet is inhabited!

Furry little creatures live here. They are the Woopax. This is the Woopax planet. In fact, there is a reason this little planet shines so brightly: the Woopax are happy to be alive. They think it's amazing to have legs and feet, arms and hands -- and to be able to run free through their world from morning to evening. In doing so, they create energy out of pure joy.

Die Woopax sind nicht nur ein Multi-Media-Projekt.
Woopax ist eine ganz eigene Lebensform.
To woo im Englischen heißt „streben nach".
Pax ist Lateinisch und heißt Frieden.

Zwei Künstler, jeder erfolgreich in seinem Metier
als Zeichner, Musiker und Schriftsteller,
sind trotz ihrer Berufserfahrung von zusammen 60 Jahren
große Jungs geblieben, die gerne spielen.
Gemeinsam haben sie diese Lebensform entwickelt
und probieren -- zu zweit und jeder für sich --
Wege, um die Woopax-Lebensweise jeden Tag neu zu gestalten.

The Woopax are not only a multimedia project:
Woopax is a way of life!
'Woo' means 'to court' or 'to endeavour towards'
'Pax' comes from Latin and means 'peace'.

Two artists, each successful in his own profession -- as a designer, as a musician and writer -- have, despite a combined professional experience of 60 years, decided to keep alive the child within themselves. Together they have developed a lifestyle and are trying -- both together and as individuals -- to live the Woopax lifestyle and reinvent it every day.
