Thank you so much for visiting my channel. It is my hope that the videos that are available here can be used as an instrument for education, research, teaching, preaching and edification.
Given that I get a lot of comments and negative reactions pertaining to my moderation of comments in regards to some videos;
A Word About Leaving Comments and My Right to Moderate
Some if not all of the videos that are on this channel have or represent a worldview that is not shared by others. I welcome all comments on the videos that are posted here and I'm grateful that we live in a country that allows freedom of thought as well as freedom of speech. I encourage everyone to participate and post their own views/beliefs in response to posted videos as well as other comments left by other viewers. If you do choose to post a comment, however, please be respectful. It is okay to criticize persons and ideas but please do so in a respectful manner. Please, for example, refrain from using foul language. You may notice that some of my videos allow for open comments and some require my authorization. In spite of being accused of trying to stifle ideas, it has been my experience that certain kinds of videos incur unfortunate comments than other kinds of videos. If you look through ALL of the comments, you will see that there are numerous comments that do not coincide with my beliefs, opinions or worldview. I do not block videos in an attempt to stifle ideas. I moderate comments in an attempt to perserve civility. It is important to keep in mind that this is a public forum and your comments will be read by people of all ages as well as people with different belief systems. WIth that being said, your universal right to use foul language does not supersede the rights of others and force them to be exposed to foul language and vulgarity. Even if you don't respect the beliefs, morals and ethics of others, at the very least consider the children that may be reading comments, etc.
Posting and leaving comments is a privilege and not an entitlement. I reserve the right to moderate the comments that are posted here according to my discretion. If you want some ground rules; it is okay to show a disdain towards ideas but not people. If you have a negativism to say about a person then please supply a "proof". If you want to criticize John Lennox, for example, then you are permitted to do so by saying something along the lines; "I don't like Lennox because he is using logical fallacies", etc. A comment of this nature will be approved and will not be deleted. If, on the other hand, you say something along the lines; "Lennox is a (fill in the blank) and you are doing so in a mean spirited manner or using foul language then your comment will be deleted. This is not to say, however, you can use belligerent language and direct it at Lennox and try to use a rationalization as your justification for your comment. In the end, as long as there is an exercise in civility, your comments will be approved.
Atheists are free to criticize God (within reason - no blasphemy please) but if you are an atheist and you quote scripture, don't be surprised if I call you out on it if you are being less than honest in your reiteration thereof.
Any comments left on this channel or private messages sent to me will be considered to be subject to reposting or quoted without your approval or permission. If I receive a private message, for example, whatever arguments or comments that are made can be used as a reference in comments, blog posts, podcasts, videos or any other medium that I may use as a means to distribute my thoughts, ideas and or beliefs, etc.
If you don't accept the terms that are in place for this channel then please feel free to view other channels as well as post on other channels that do not have the restrictions that this one has in place.
Thank you everyone for viewing this channel and my thanks also go out to my subscribers. I will make an attempt to come back later and write more to give you a better idea about what I'm like as well as what this channel is about. I that by opening with legalities didn't set a poor tone for the channel but it is something that needed to be addressed given the concerns that I'm often presented with accordingly.
