From what I gather Cage took the concepts they used in Indigo Prophecy and managed to rework them to total perfection (IP was ingenious but majorly flawed). It's a real pity the game's Sony exclusive, it sounds like something I'd play on my deathbed.
I've heard of Hell Girl but didn't get around actually watching it. Have had enough of creepy Japanese girls for a while with Ku-On and Ring, I guess. Try Death Note, it's one of the best series ever, and I've got a feeling that you're gonna just love L.
P.S. failing to own a PS3 I've yet to play Heavy Rain. How good is it?
