Trusive "Amico Mio" In case you haven't seen it already, might I venture to recommend academy award winning Director Ang Lees' film circa 1993 "The Wedding Banquet"? It centers on a Chinese student immigrant and his American lover conspiring to set up an elaborate "Sham" wedding for his parents who are arriving from Taipei expecting to attend their "engaged" son's wedding! It's quite well done, and all the clips can be viewed here on YT!

Trusive "Amico Mio" I just wished to express how proud of you I am, as both an expressive and throughtly "Self Aware" queer (LGBT/gay) young man, but as a "Asian American" as well! It's wonderful to at long last ,see persons of color or ethnicity, come into their own within the "Gay" community! I tell you this with no pride, shame actually, but as an "out" young man many years ago, a lover/boyfriend of mine (Bobby Griffith/Prayers for Bobby) and I discovered a "Gay" community that openly excluded many people! It's about f**ckin time! And an aspiring film maker as well? In my mid 20s, living and working in San Francisco, I was privileged to hang out with director ":Wayne Wang" and many of his cast and crew members! It gave me a glimpse into the "Asian American" Chinese specifically, experience that I treasure to this day! So "Amico Mio" I'd like to extend my hand in friendship, and of coarse shall subscribe as well!
