Whats up Torch. First off I just want to say thanks for being so humle to share with us struggling musicians what you learn as you learn. That takes a lot of humility and courage. I, like yourself am at a point where I am getting frustrated with what I can do with my bass. I basically can play a song, but there is no feeling or style. I do know my notes but it still takes a while to find them as I go further up the fretboard. Is that the problem? Can you please give me tips on how to better train myself to express my own style and hear what sounds good as a riff or run?

God bless you sir. Keep making them videos. I love Metal and Hardcore. I go to church and also listen to R and B.
I am so fed up with my creativity, It's like everything has been done before. Bout to throw my two basses straight out the window. I would love if i could effectively mix some gospel with Metalcore. Groups like Underoath and Still Remains (both popmetal i guess) have sort of done it, but not the way I'm trying to do it. Thanx for keeping the spirit and love for music alive and spreading the knowledge for those who can't take lessons.You are greatly appreciated
