Tony Tuthill / Kinneas Play

- Music videos I made and, The Venetian Princess videos I contributed art to.
- A history of my video making attempts using Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Flash.

When YouTube started it was very hard to properly encode still images. The upload parameters did not apply and I had to experiment endlessly with encode settings. Once I had achieved good results the best I could do at the time was create storyboard videos with Windows Movie Maker. I had no idea if the final encode and uploads would turn out o.k. and most were epic failures, so I did not invest a lot of time in trying to make the early video art look as good as it could have been. The same applied to the Elvis Costello and The Beat videos. The goal was to just get the text/lyrics to display clearly. "Turn and Burn!" was the motto.

Including the most recent, they have all been tests and experiments trying to bring it all together. I've finally graduated up to FLASH but still learning as I go.

The biggest thanks to: Arthur Yoria (Magnatune), Brad Sucks(Magnatune) and Lemon Demon for for the music that inspired some of these.

To, The Venetian Princess for choosing me as one of the artists to contribute work to her videos. What an incredible singer, director, editor, human and...art director. What a pleasure working with her.

To UMG & YouTube for creating a framework that allows fan created content.
