Each time I add a new clip (I'm making a music video) and I "preview" it, a little before the five second mark it blacks out and nothing happens. I keep starting over and over putting each clip in and setting the duration etc., but it doesn't help. It's driving me insane!!!!

To your comment on tube blaster pro. I am not aware of a way to extend that trial period on that software. Even if you uninstall and remove the files from your "program files" folder and reinstall it still restricts you. If you run out of time and you don't want to purchase it check out my video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v­=nB47GPOoH9g it has a program that doesn't have a trial period but instead resricts you from the more unlimited features. Plus this program goes into more detail options. I hope I have helped!!  :)
