I am unaffiliated with any political party, and at this point in time I lean to the left. I believe the greater good should never be sacrificed for the good of a few. I live by a simple, yet complicated theroy written by John Rawls inhis book "A Theory of Justice".

The Original Position: How would a reasonable person structure a society, guided by their own self interest, if they couldn't know what sort of person they would be in it. Each person must judge the fairness of every law and social arrangement through a "veil of ignorance". In other words, society can be designed however we like as long as we don't presume to know, in advance, whether we will be black, white, male or female, young or old, healthy or sick, of high or low intelligence, beautiful or ugly, wealthy or impoverished.

The border hits home. It's not "safer than it has ever been" A fence does little good when it's built in 3 mine sections open at both ends. Illegal crossings don't slow telling ICE to look the other way. It's hard to protect a border when he arms the criminals and uses the courts to under mind the local authorities. A 60 mile strip running the border is occupied by the criminal drug running invaders and thanks to Obama will remain that way.
