I'm Spider-Man Responds!

One frequently asked question I'd like to address about where I got the suit:

I bought the suit in 2004 for Halloween from a woman who lived in Houston, Texas. Unfortunately I can't locate her again now that she's divorced and has taken on her maiden name (last name of Smith!). I do know that she made garments for the Renaissance Festival during the non-Halloween time period. We were thisclose to making a black costume (and this was back in 2004) but unfortunately never did it. Not bad costume huh?

I actually have to work out with a trainer just to look like Spider-Man in it. Otherwise it will show off all of your problem areas. Even I don't have a rock hard stomach (still trying... more crunches).

If you want to seriously find a good costume then I'd try searching on ebay for seamstresses or tailors that do that sort of thing. That'd be where I'd start, personally.
