JERUSALEM AND THE TEMPLE MOUNT-------------- The First Temple was built by King Solomon in seven years during the 10th century BCE in 957 BCE. It was the center of ancient Judaism and has remained a focal point for Jewish services over the millennia.[1] The Temple replaced the Tabernacle of Moses and the Tabernacles at Shiloh, Nov, and Givon as the central focus of Jewish faith. This First Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BCE, and was rebuilt seventy years later by Cyrus the Great in 516 BCE. Centuries later, it was renovated by Herod in about 20 BCE, and this Second Temple was subsequently destroyed by Titus and the Romans in 70 CE. Titus, son of Roman Emperor Vespasian, plundered and destroyed first the Holy Temple of Jerusalem, and then the Holy City, slaughtering hundreds of thousands of Jews. The treasures of the Temple were enormous, including the treasury of the Temple, always compounded yearly through tithes paid by faithful Jews in Jerusalem, Judea, and all parts of the world where Jews had settled through dispersions, the gold furniture of the Temple, and the large number of gold vessels and utensils, the enormous thick sheets of gold that covered the walls and doors of the Temple, and the treasures of the wealthy that were safekept in the Temple. All of the outer walls still stand, although the Temple itself has long since been destroyed, and for many years it was believed that the western wall of the complex was the only wall standing.--------

THE HISTORY OF PALESTINE!------------- Thousands of years before the Romans invented Palastina the land had been known as Canaan. The Canaanites had many tiny city-states, each one at times independent and at times a vassal of an Egyptian or Hittite king. The Canaanites never united into a state. After the Exodus from Egypt probably in the Thirteenth Century BC but perhaps earlier--, the Children of Israel settled in the land of Canaan. There they formed first a tribal confederation, and then the biblical kingdoms of Israel and Judah, and the post- biblical kingdom of Judea. From the beginning of history to this day, Israel-Judah-Judea has the only united,independent, sovereign nation-state that ever existed in Palestine west of the Jordan River. (In biblical times, Ammon, Moab and Edom as well as Israel had land east of the Jordan,but they disappeared in antiquity and no other nation took their place until the British invented Trans-Jordan in the 1920s.) After the Roman conquest of Judea,Palastina became a province of the pagan Roman Empire and then of the Christian Byzantine Empire, and very briefly of the Zoroastrian Persian Empire. In 638 CE, an Arab-Muslim Caliph took Palastina away from the Byzantine Empire and made it part of an Arab-Muslim Empire. The Arabs, who had no name of their own for this region, adopted the Greco-Roman name Palastina, that they pronounced Falastin. In that period, much of the mixed population of Palastina converted to Islam and adopted the Arabic language. They were subjects of a distant Caliph who ruled them from his capital,that was first in Damascus and later in Baghdad.They did not become a nation or an independent state, or develop a distinct society or culture. In 1099, Christian Crusaders from Europe conquered Palestina-Falastin. After 1099, it was never again under Arab rule. The Christian Crusader kingdom was politically independent, but never developed a national identity. It remained a military outpost of Christian Europe, and lasted less than 100 years. Thereafter,Palestine was joined to Syria as a subject province first of the Mameluks, ethnically mixed slave-warriors whose center was in Egypt, and then of the Ottoman Turks, whose capital was in Istanbul. During the First World War, the British took Palestine from the Ottoman Turks. At the end of the war, the Ottoman Empire collapsed and among its subject provinces Palestine was assigned to the British,to govern temporarily as a mandate from the League of Nations.

MUSLIMS TELL AT LEAST 5 BIG LIES---------- First of all, their Quran does not mention Jerusalem even once, meaning their claim to Israel's capital as their third holiest city is fraudulent and aimed at stealing the city from the Jews.---------- Secondly they adamantly assert that the Palestinians comprise a nation-- although they have no national history-- and that Israel has to give Judea,Samaria and Gaza back to these Palestinians -- although those lands have never been under Muslim rule.---------- Thirdly,they claim the Jews occupy Arab lands, when in fact the Arabs are the occupiers in the Middle East -- they belong in Arabia and have no right to Egypt, Syria, Jordan or Lebanon. Judea, Samaria and Gaza is not Israeli-occupied territory but Arab- occupied territory.---------- Fourthly, they proclaim that Islam is a religion of peace, when Islam was established by the edge of the sword; when Muslims are involved in almost every war on the planet; and when Muslims introduced terrorism as we know it today to the world, and are responsible for almostall terrorist attacks in the world.----Fifthly, they repeat ad nauseum that they want to live in peace with Israel when an overwhelming mountain of both factual and circumstantial evidence proves that their unaltered aim and goal is to destroy the Jewish state.This was the thrust of blistering remarks made by one of the few Jewish leaders still courageous enough to withstand the flood of lies about the Arab-Israeli conflict that have been swallowed and championed as facts.Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) President Morton Klein assailed these core myths upon which the whole Middle East Peace Process is predicated in a speech in a Canadian synagogue. According to a report in The Canadian Jewish News Friday, he also slammed Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert? willingness to even consider the Saudi Arabian peace plan that sees the Jews returned to the 1967 Auschwitz borders.Views expressed by the author do not necessarily reflect those of israel insider.

LONG SHORT LINE-- Israel was responsible for bringing about some of its own problems. The Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza Strip were packed and ready to leave following their 1967 defeat. Suddenly the victorious one-eyed IDF General Moshe Dayan persuaded them to stay. This singular act stunned no one more than the Arab enemy himself who could not believe such an incredible manifestation of Jewish madness! After all, the Arabs knew what THEY would have done to the Jews if they had won! Dayan's plan was to educate them, offer them modern medical treatment, provide them with employment both in the West Bank, Gaza AND inside Israel Proper itself ... living amongst each other in hopes of building bridges to the Arab world.Israel is now paying dearly for this typically naive Leftist gesture.That bridge led to two Intifadas and world-wide Arab-Palestinian terrorism.From a frightened and defeated enemy, these Palestinian Arabs under Israel's jurisdiction turned into a confident, hateful and dangerous enemy now on their way toward forming a terrorist state determined to destroy Israel! Note: When people say Jordan (first called Trans-Jordan) is an Arab-Palestinian State, they are correct! Jordan accounts for 3/4 of Palestine's original land mass. Though they may call themselves Jordanians, they are culturally, ethnically, historically and religiously no different than the Arab-Palestinians on the West Bank. Even the flag of Jordan and the flag of the proposed 2nd Arab-Palestinian state on the West Bank / Gaza look almost identical. So, if the Arab-Palestinians and Jordanians think of themselves as one and the same,why should WE fall for the lie that the Arab Palestinians west of the Jordan River are any different from the Jordanian Arabs on its eastern shore? THINK ABOUT THAT!!!
