Victoria Daskal is a UK-based wine expert who holds an OIV MSc in International Wine Management from France.

Originally hailing from Boston, USA where she took her first wine courses and initial steps into wine journalism, she has since gone on to be published in many prestigious wine publications around the world including Decanter Magazine, Harpers, Wine State, and www.jancisrobinson.com. In 2008 she was the runner-up for the Young Wine Writer of the Year Award presented by Oz Clarke.

Aside from writing and advising on wine, Victoria has also been teaching wine for several years through the London Wine Academy. This love for teaching and communicating about wine is the fuel for much of the content in SlurpVision videos.

Always keen to get involved with innovative wine projects, Victoria worked closely with internationally acclaimed UK wine critic, Jancis Robinson MW, to develop wine and food matching software for Nintendo DS.
