About Me:
We grow up with the mind frame that "we shouldn't even bother", "we can't make a change" and "that's just the way things are". These lies have normalized themselves to the point where our inactivity has reached an obscene level of selfishness.
The reality is that we as a culture consciously make choices which affect each other, and we have the power to change. We are taught that differences of opinion automatically means that we should resort to fists. This mindset has gone on for far too long and has kept us divided and unproductive.
Violence is a sacred gift, a defense mechanism, something to be used as a last resort to defend ourselves or others in life threatening situations; and when it is done we should reflect in shame with the intentions of stopping it from ever happening again. Yet we have spit on this gift and used it as entertainment.
