RiSa Kuomon[R&B/Jazz/Acoustic/Song writer/Pianist/Vocal trainer] RiSa was born on Sep 16th 1982 in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Japan. She started doing music at the age of 3 when she lost her eyesight. Fortunately,she got all but her Peripheral vision:(Side vision) back when she was 5years old. In high school Risa majored in music and mastered classic vocal training (1999-2001). After she graduated from college (2001-2003), she moved to Los Angeles to study English and music. When she finish school, she got Jazz, R&B, Gospel, Acoustic, Classic and Classic Rock education from (Pasadena International Music Academy) and in Language school (Poly Language Institute) she worked with a Japanese producer Sunday Mitsuru at his studio in Pasadena, CA (2004-2006). 2007 she went back to Japan and moved to Okinawa (Dec. 2007) Then she joined a promoting label "Top Island" to do events and get her music heard. While with Top Island she's doing many shows at clubs and jazz bars where she sings Jazz, Soul, and R&B. Now she is working with up and coming rapper /producer RoRo from Orlando, Florida on her new album which she has released her first single "International Lover"produced by RoRo. This song is attracting a huge buzz in the streets and clubs in Okinawa and can be found on Numerous Mix CD by DJs.
