About Me:
My name is Jonathon Stefanowich and I am head of Shaded Tree Studios, a movie producing company that was just founded earlier this year by me and a few other people.
A few other people who helped me start this company is a young guy named Anthony Ryan, and another friend of mine, Jonathan Grimes. I am proud to say that even though we are going through rough times we are never giving up.
So what types of movies have we currently created?
Well, the answer is none. Since we just founded the company this year we never had the chance to start on a film. We instead took the time to do some building up ( savings, trying to get a website up, etc....) Many people disagreed with the amount of time it is taking us to produce our first film and I have one thing to say to that and that is, rush and fail, or take your time, do it right, and succeed. We are the type of people who will spend extra time on a project just s that we can get it right.
OUR FIRST MOVIE
I am happy to say that after all of this waiting, almost eight months, we are soon to start on our first movie. The basic plot of Infected, however, is very simple. It starts off in the late 20th Century where an an incident infects the people in a distant city. It begans to spread slowly and project GENESIS goes into effect. The project uses infected DNA to mutate the body of a human, therefore, allowing the persn to live in the cnditions in which the setting has turned into. Before the problem can be fixed, the whole United States turns into an infected hell hole. The country is instantly blocked off from the rest of the world. 15 years past. Now the whole movie takes place in a city known as West Point, where a group of survivors try staying alive as long as the clock ticks. A team of special ops members visit the city, searching for an experiment that was created 15 years earlier. Planning on destroying the city, the team seeks to rescue the survivors, and find the experiment before it is too late.
The movie, which is a mixture of action, horror, and suspense, is scheduled to be filmed during the summer of 2010. We will shoot from early June to late August. As of now, we will be funding for the film between now and MAY. We hope to get the amount needed before our deadline.
Just as a warning, this movie will be graphic and will contain many suspenseful scenes and a great amount of gore. In that case it is not advised that kids should watch this movie.
If you contact us at our email we will reply back, and say that we will save you under our contacts. Then on January 30, 2009, you will recieve a few things, one being the audition form. Along with the script this is very important. If you are very serious about being in the movie, you can fill out the form and send it to us through mail. Once we get it we will look over it and keep it in a file until the time for auditions come around.
As of the script, it is being written right now. It will be finished mid January. If you send me an email saying that you are interested in helping with the movie, either as a crew member or an actor, I will send you a copy of the script along with some other details regarding the movie. By early January, the entire shooting schedule, audition schedule, and any other important details will be complete. If you had sent me a message requesting to help with the movie I will email you all of this information. Now it is important to remember that if you do participate in this movie you will have to sign a contract saying that you have to show up every day you are required. If you break the contract, such as leaving halfway through the making of the movie, you will be forced to pay a fee. The reason for this is mostly because we will not have a huge budget and if someone leaves they can actually mess up the production schedule of the movie. HELPING OUT
I am grateful for anyone who is willing to help us out with the film. We will be trying to put out many fundraisers for the film but if you want to donate money yourself, just message me and I will give you instructions how to. We will be putting together a website soon where you can donate money for the film. If you donate four hundred and fifty dollars or more and or participated in the movie, you will get two free tickets to the film when it comes out at the theater, if it does, and a free copy of the movie when it comes out on DVD. That is a way of me showing you guys how much I appreciate your help towards the movie.
