I think you and I have a lot in common- I have been training in one martial art or another for 32 years- Aikido for the last 20 years with Nadeau Shihan, also bagua with BK Frantis- I like how your practice is alive and that you try to embody the principals that make the waza work. I have been fortunate enough to sit in on very private conversations with Nishio Sensei, Arikawa Sensei, Saito Sensei and the current Doshu and they all have said that the waza are there to show us the potential and possibilities of what is before us, and in a very fractal sense self development is built into the system....nice to see somebody doing what all the good cats did which is open up and learn to express all area of this life. Yeah Strange do your thing brother and keep up the good example for the rest of us.
