There is no doubt that the PDX1 Slug is impressive. I have about 200 Federal LE Low REcoil slugs left. When I get down to 100 I will be ordering a case of the pdx1.

Stevo - I am one of the few people that has been having trouble with the Caracal. Last week I put it in the hands of a student and he was having malfunctions. The round was not fully seating in the chamber. Probably a limp wristing issue, but then again, this is a fairly experienced shooter.

That is a good question. I don't know if the lower is modified to use AR style 7.62 mags or if it ready for AK Mags. If it is ready for AK mags then it would be a no go with standard 5.56 mags. you could buy the upper only and put it on a 5.56 lower and you would be all set.

Scott - I'm sure that customer service at 5.11 is great. I have used them in the past and simply can't find a problem with that aspect. What I want however is a sternum strap that works in the first place. Unfortunately, them sending me a new strap is just going to result in another piece lyin...
