@(Street Life)@

I play the street life
Because there's no place I can go
Street life
And it's the only life I know
Street life
And there's a thousand parts to play
Street life
Until you play your life away
You let the people see
Just who you want to be
And every night you shine
just like a super star
That's how the life is played
A ten cent Masquerade
You dress, and walk, and talk
you're who you think you are
Street life
You can run away from time
Street life
For a nickel and a dime
Street life
But you better not get old
Street life
Or you're gonna feel the cold
There's always love for sale
A grown-up fairy tale
Prince charming always smiles
behind a silver spoon
And if you keep it young
Your song is always sung
Your love will pay your way
beneath the silver moon

@(Tennessee Stud)@
Back about eighteen and twenty-five
I left Tennessee very much alive
I never would've made it through the Arkansas mud
If I hadn't been riding on the Tennessee Stud
Had some trouble with my sweetheart's Pa
One of her brothers was a bad outlaw
I wrote a letter to my Uncle Spud And
I rode away on the Tennessee Stud
On a Tennessee Stud
The Tennessee Stud was long and lean
The color of the sun and his eyes were green
He had the nerve and he had the blood
There never was a horse like Tennessee Stud
Drifted on down into no man's land
Across the river called the Rio Grande Raced my horse with the Spaniard's foe
Til I got me a skin full of silver and gold
Me and the gambler, we couldn't agree
We got in a fight over Tennessee Pulled our guns and he fell with a thud
And I rode away on a Tennessee Stud
The Tennessee Stud was long and lean
The color of the sun and his eyes were green
He had the nerve and he had the blood
There was never a horse like the Tennessee Stud
I rode right back across Arkansas
I whipped her brother and
I whipped her Pa
I found that girl with the golden hair
She was riding on a Tennessee Mare
Pretty little baby on the cabin floor
Little horse colt playing round the door
I loved the girl with the golden hair
And the Tennessee Stud loves the Tennessee Mare
The Tennessee Stud was long and lean
The color of the sun and his eyes were green
He had the nerve and he had the blood
There was never a horse like the Tennessee Stud

The bomb in the bar will explode at thirteen twenty.
Now its just thirteen sixteen.
Theres still time for some to go in,
And some to come out.

The terrorist has already crossed the street.
The distance keeps him out of danger,
And what a viewjust like the movies.

A woman in a yellow jacket, shes going in.
A man in dark glasses, hes coming out.
Teen-agers in jeans, theyre talking.
Thirteen seventeen and four seconds.
The short one, hes lucky, hes getting on a scooter,
But the tall one, hes going in.

Thirteen seventeen and forty seconds.
That girl, shes walking along with a green ribbon in her hair.
But then a bus suddenly pulls in front of her.
Thirteen eighteen.
The girls gone.
Was she that dumb, did she go in or not,
Well see when they carry them out.

Thirteen nineteen.
Somehow no ones going in.
Another guy, fat, bald, is leaving, though.
Wait a second, looks like hes looking
For something in his pockets and
At thirteen twenty minus ten seconds
He goes back for his crummy gloves.

Thirteen twenty exactly.
This waiting, its taking forever:
Any second now.
No, not yet.
Yes, now.
The bomb, it explodes.
Nancy Sinatra:-

You keep saying you've got something for me.
something you call love, but confess
you've been messin' where you shouldn't have been messin'
and now someone else is gettin' all your best
these boots were made for walking, and not that's just what they'lldo
one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.
you keep lying, when you oughta be truthin'
and you keep loosin' when you oughta not bet
you keep samin' when you oughta be changin'
now what's right is right, but you ain't been right yet
these boots were made for walking, and that's just what they'lldo
one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.
you keep playin' where you shouldn't be playin
and you keep thinkin' you will never get burnt
I just found me a brand new set of magic
and what he know you ain't got time to learn
these boots were made for walking, and that's just what they'lldo
one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.
are you ready boots? start walkin'!

Ukrainian Army Footwear :-

I will work for shoes.
I love shoes with a passion that I would rather buy a pair of shoes than pay my rent.
I love shoes so much that some days I have gone hungry so that I could buy a pair of heels.
When I am sad, I buy shoes to feel better.
When I am happy, I buy shoes because am happy.
When I am at home, I will wear a pair of heels and strut around my flat.
I dream about shoes when I go to bed at night and when I awake, I think about what new designs are out there that I have not yet discovered.
Ive spent $40,000 on shoes and I have no place to live? I will literally be the old woman who lived in her shoes!
- Carrie Bradshaw
In 1965 Vietnam seemed like just another foreign war,
but it wasn't.
It was different in many ways, as so were those that did the fighting.
In World War II the average age of the combat soldier was 26...
In Vietnam he was 19.
In inininininin Vietnam he was 19.

(TV announcer's voice)
The shooting and fighting of the past two weeks continued today
25 miles west of Saigon I really wasn't sure what was going on (Vet's Voice)

In Vietnam the combat soldier typically served a twelve month tour of duty but
was exposed to hostile fire almost everyday
Ninininininininininin 19 nininininninin 19

Hundreds of Thousands of men who saw heavy combat in Vietnam were arrested
since discharge
Their arrest rate is almost twice that of non-veterans of the same age.
There are no accurate figures of how many of these men have been incarcerated.
But, a Veterans Administration study concludes that the greater of Vets
exposure to combat could more likely affect his chances of being arrested or
convicted.

This is one legacy of the Vietnam War

(Singing Girls) All those who remember the war They won't forget what they've seen.. Destruction of men in their prime whose average was 19 Dedededededede-Destruction Dedededededede-Destruction War, War Dededede-Destruction, wa-wa-War, wa-War, War Dedededededede-Destruction War, War

After World War II the Men came home together on troop ships, but the Vietnam
Vet often arrived home within 48 hours of jungle combat
Perhaps the most dramatic difference between World War II and Vietnam was
coming home.. .none of them received a hero's welcome
None of them received a heroes welcome, none of them, none of them
Nenene Nenene None of them, none of them, none of them (etc...)
None of them received a hero's welcome
None of them received a hero's welcome

According to a Veteran's Administration study
Half of the Vietnam combat veterans suffered from what Psychiatrists call
Post-Traumatic-Stress-Disorder
Many vets complain of alienation, rage, or guilt
Some succumb to suicidal thoughts
Eight to Ten years after coming home almost eight-hundred-thousand men are
still fighting the Vietnam War

(Soldiers Voice) When we came back it was different.. Everybody wants to know "How'd it
happened to those guys over there
There's gotta be something wrong somewhere
We did what we had to do
There's gotta be something wrong somewhere
People wanted us to be ashamed of what it made us
Dad had no idea what he went to fight and he is now
All we want to do is come home
All we want to do is come home
What did we do it for
All we want to do is come home
Was it worth it?

Fariba Pajouh is an Iranian blogger and human rights activist, she also wrote her personal views on her blog, Beyond the Rain. We heard from prisoners who have been released that Ms. Pajouh had told them that she was under heavy pressure to confess to indecent conduct, a charge commonly made against female detainees. Each time she called us, we tried to tell her to remain strong and resist.

Fariba Pajouh, has been in solitary confinement in Tehrans Evin Prison for three weeks. Last year Fariba was on antidepressant medications for three months. Depression is very common in Iran, especially among women. Remaining in solitary confinement will be very dangerous to her mental state.
