Now, SSDP is taking this project to another level. Professor Glenn C. Loury, the Merton P. Stoltz Professor of the Social Sciences and Professor of Economics at Brown University, holding a B.A. in Mathematics from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, gives a talk about the expansion of prison systems and the 'War on Drugs' within the United States and their effects on the economy, social inequality, racial disparities, and political landscapes.
