Depending on what sort of grass is covering the plot you have a couple of options.
If it's Couch Grass or Twitch as its more commonly known then the only real way to get rid of it is to use a systemic weedkiller like roundup or Glyphosate as the roots are endless and even if you try to pull them out,the smallest piece of root will just come back as grass again.
And covering it with black polythene doesn't work either as the roots just travel until they hit daylight.
You'll know if it's couch grass if you dig some up and you have loads of spaghetti like succulent thickish white roots.
If it's just normal type garden grass then you may be able to dig it all out,if you can be bothered and plant a few spuds which will help to break the ground up for you.
Otherwise I'm afraid weedkiller is the only real solution.

Thanks for checking out my channel and subbing. To answer your question about those who don't do the "work" I think it can be a vibrational and a focus thing. Whatever your vibration is that is what you will attract be it people, money, opportunities etc... and if you are more focused on your goals it becomes easier to spot opportunities making your dream a reality. I use visualization because it brings focus. I've been doing it for about 6 years and everything I have focused on I have experienced and gotten.
