The New Challenge - Sell Our Secrets!

Our generation is sharing more online than any generation before us, vlogging, tweeting, commenting, blogging... Contrary to media perceptions of 'yoof', we're open, honest and passionate.

Now we're going to challenge the older generation to be as open as we are and help us raise money. Just make a video telling YouTubers something about yourself that no-one else knows - a story from your childhood, the secret to your special talent, anything you like. Make it funny, revealing or poignant, and say it with pride! With your videos (and comments), we're going to inspire celebrities, business leaders and the older generation to be just as open - and support us by selling their 'secrets' to raise money for a new lifeboat for the RNLI. So if you're up for it, get uploading!

What's it all about?

YouTube's top young vloggers (and me) are setting young people a challenge - to use their influence and ingenuity to raise money in a way no other generation ever has before. We've already been to Apple HQ to ask them to kick off the fund for a new lifeboat (see the vid of the day on the right), and Sell Our Secrets is our next challenge. We want to create a good news story that'll change the negative headlines about us in the media. For good.
