Indeed, I saw how he just asserted (without providing the slightest shred of evidence) that Esau is from the `ayn-shin-shin root. Apparently, however, that is not a concoction of his own imagination; rather that approach is quite old among UPKers (as I recall them saying his name meant "wasted away is he" back in the 90s).
