"Music is a puzzle. It really is. Only the greatest of the great have fitted every piece together and saw that finished picture. The rest of us, just see that finished product. We have no clue what each individual piece is. We see the great rocker on stage, but we don't know what made him up to be like that. He has the perfect tone, but how many failed tries did it take to get that tone? His fingers move so fast, but how did he get them to move so fast? He wrote a great song, but what inspired him to write that song? Sometimes I wish that rocker would just tell me! But until then, all us musicians try to figure out each piece one by one in hope that we'll get that full picture one day."
