If you are intrested in Roller Coasters,Theme Parks,Music Videos,Theme Park Updates,Theme Park Attractions,or Video Games.Then this is the group for you.Heres a bonus for all of you people who love roller coasters and attractions in Southern California.Six Flags Magic Mountain is adding Mr.Six's Dance Coaster and will open May 29th near Deja Vu.The coaster is being taken from Six Flags New Orleans,also a fairly unqiue and impressive new coaster may be planned for next year,possibly located near the top of the Mountain itself along with a Wiggles World.According to an interesting Tweet by Six Flags, it seems that some changes are in the works for Superman:The Escape.They believe that last years rumors of a conversion of Superman into a Bizarro themed ride are also very possibly coming to pass.I understood it the idea from last year was that one side of Superman would be altered to feature a new Bizarro themed car that may run backwards.Then they would finally get both sides of the ride able to launch simultaneously once again.Disney's California Adveture is getting a makeover.DCA will add a Cars Land.The featured attraction will be Radiator Springs Racers.Cars Land will also offer two other,smaller rides based on the film's characters,Luigi and Mater.And the Cars Land Drive-In Restaurant,in which diners will watch old movie clips about cars while eating inside retro-fitted automobiles,Cars Land will debut June 2012.Construction has started.DCA will get its own nighttime spectacular World of Color.Located in a new 9,000 person Outdoor Amphitheater that will be multi-leveled and opens sometime this month,alongside Paradise Pier,the show will use water effects and pyrotechnics to highlight classic Disney animation.A 25 minute nighttime show,World of Color will transform Paradise Bay into water spectacular,utilizing 1,200 individual fountains,showcasing the magic of Disney animation,from classic to contemporary.Look for Disney's World of Color June 11th.The Little Mermaid:Ariel's Adventure.A dark ride featuring the wonderful music and characters from the hit film will be coming to the Paradise Pier area.The Little Mermaid ride will debut in May 2011.Mulholland Madness will be remade as Goof's Sky School.Mulholland Madness closoure date is unknown and Reopens in December.The Orange Stinger will be remade as the Silly Symphony Swings.The remodeled attraction will have a Band Conductor Mickey on top of the tower who will move around to the music.The top will be remodeled to be more like a carousel to allow for the placement of scenes from the Silly Symphonies on the inside of each section.The Orange Stinger is closed and reopens as The Silly Symphonies Swings May 29th.The Carthay Theater building will be used house a relocated Resort Preview Center.Its also mentioned that there may be some kind of Disneyland fireworks viewing area from here.They will eventually rename the Hollywood Pictures Backlot into Hollywoodland.Buena Vista Street a new experience that will introduce them to a world of historic California streets just as Walt experienced as a young artist.Outside in the streets,Red Car trolleys,will travel up and down the main street.The cars are said to hold only about 20 people each.New restaurants and shopping opportunities will also be added to Buena Vista Street.Buena Vista Street and the entire new entrance area of the park will not be ready to open until Spring 2012.Construction starts soon.Star Tours is going to shut down in October to work on the massive overhaul it will receive for the Star Tours 2 concept rebirth.Star Tours 2 opens May 2011.Universal Studios Hollywood plans to build a attraction based on Transformers.The ride will replace Backdraft and the Special Effects attractions.The attraction will fuse 3D-HD media,mega special effects and stunning robotics.The ride system could be an copy of the Spiderman ride system.The ride may have an extensive use of fire effects at a point,which the Backdraft building was designed to handle with extra air circulation equipment on the roof.Construction begins around Spring Break.The ride will debut summer 2011.
