you know how MIB said he wanted to go home?
i got a magazine, and the interview suggested that MIB wanted to leave the island, and that it was a BAD idea...
so my theory was that some people were kept on the island to somehow prevent MIB from leaving, because if he left the island, horrible things would happen...
