I LOVE purple more than words can explain!!!

I have always loved music for as long as I can remember. I CAN'T LIVE without music, nor would I want to.

The first time I picked up a guitar was when I was about 9 years old. My 13 year old brother was teaching himself with great success and I wanted to learn too. The first song he taught me was "Come As You Are" By Nirvana. I kept at it for a while, using his tab books, and learning the beginnings to a few songs (Metallica mainly), and then moving on to a new song once that one got too hard. That lasted a few months, while my brother continued to learn and progress over the years.

In Christmas of 1999 I got my first guitar, and picked up where I left off, doing the same thing and then giving up after a few months again. Although, I kept losing interest in motivating myself to learn, I never lost my love for music.

In April 2008, I decided that I was going to give it one more shot. I have been teaching myself ever since, and started learning the ukulele as well. Now that I have started, there is no going back!!

Thanks bro for getting me started so long ago.
