I decided to embark on this journey because I desired to live a long healthy life. Even though I do not have health issues at the moment the weight I am carrying will shorten my life sooner or later. I needed to take better care of myself so that I can take care of my family.

May 20, 2010 : INSURANCE APPROVAL after 1 day of submission. Yea, what a turn around.
May 21, 2010: Started 2 week high protein diet (279).
June 7th - pre-op
June 16th - surgery - yea!!!!
