The 19-year-old Hussain al-Baqalai was severely injured after Saudi-backed Bahraini troops attacked a protest rally in the village of Jidd Hafs on Thursday.
According to activists, he died of his wounds hours later after police prevented his family from taking him to hospital.
Meanwhile, activists have also reported that regime forces raided several homes in the village of Sanabis near the capital Manama and detained opposition protesters.
