    Valentine Fortune Cookies

Hi, I’m Josh Rimer and I’m going to teach you how to make something for your hunny that won’t cost a lot of money. I’m talking about making an impression on Valentine’s Day. Before you go out and buy just a regular boring gift that screams “Sorry I’m so lame - I didn’t really try” I’m going to show you how to make your own gift that screams “Look how thoughtful I am - And I didn’t have to buy.”
So let me show you how to make a romantic felt fortune cookie… and you won’t even need to sew it!

For this romantic and thoughtful gift all you’re going to need is a pair of fabric shears (or just a good, strong pair of scissors), some red felt, a package of floral wire, and some Speed-Sew.

Joke #1: Did you know that lettuce is the most loving vegetable there is? It’s true… it’s all heart.

Step #1: So the first thing we’re going to do is grab the scissors and cut a circle shape out of the felt. We want to make it about 4 inches in diameter.

Joke #2: I bet you didn’t know that I once fell in love with a French chef. Ya, he really buttered me up.

Step #2: Next we cut a piece of the floral wire slightly shorter than the diameter of the circle.

Joke # 3:Do you know what cavemen used to give their wives on Valentine’s Day? Ughs and kisses!

Step #3: We then cut a strip of felt that’s the same length as the wire, to cover it.

Joke #4: I once went on a Valentine’s Day date with someone who was about a foot shorter than me. He was my Valentiny!

Step #4: Now we’re going to use some Speed-Sew to glue the wire across the centre of the circle of felt.

Joke #5: My Mom’s sister actually ran off and got married on Valentine’s day one year. That’s why I call her my Antelope.

Step #5: Put the strip of felt over the wire. We can add a bit of speed-sew to it if necessary.

Joke #6: I’m friends with a farmer and every Valentine’s Day he gives his wife the same thing? Hogs and kisses!

Step #6: Now we wait about 30 minutes for the glue to completely dry. We can continue making more at this point and we can also write your note(s).

Joke #7: Valentine’s Day is my favorite time of year to celebrate because I can really party hearty!

Step #7: When it’s completely dry pinch the wire together to form the fortune cookie shape by angling the sides toward each other, bending the wire at its halfway point.

Joke #8: I once dated an abstract painter who shared his true feelings for me on Valentine’s Day. He said he loved me with all his art.

Step #8: Carefully peel back one flap of the felt cookie and put your note inside. You could also insert candy/candies. Fold the flap back over to close the cookie around the contents.

Joke #9: I once had to call the cops on my ex on dating on Valentine’s Day. He stole my heart!

And there you have it – a romantic Valentine’s Day felt fortune cookie. Guaranteed to keep you out of the dog house and turn your girlfriend or boyfriend into your spouse. Alright, maybe I can’t guarantee that, but what I can promise you that your chances of getting laid will increase significantly, ok?

I’m Josh Rimer and I just showed you that you don’t need to sew it.
