My favourite video game genre has got to be platforming games like Mario, Zelda, Megaman, Castlevania, etc. I like the simplicity of those games and the fact that I can play at my pace (platforming games are usually single-player games) makes them more enjoyable. Levels often have cool stage designs too. These games also tend to be shorter than most other games which means that I can beat it quick and on to the next OR play them again for nostalgia and the fact that these games has awesome replay value, despite being single-player games.
