BLUES - Some performance videos, some tutorials, and some announcements, like: CHECK OUT ADAM GUSSOW'S website "MODERN BLUES HARMONICA," and some self promotion:
About Me:

I've been playin' the blues since 1969. When I lived in NYC, I hung out at Dan Lynch, and I played every blues club in that town. In those years I played with Nat Riddles in the streets of NYC and learned (on the fly) how to back up one of the greatest blues harmonica players who ever lived. That's when I met Adam Gussow. Nat and I recorded (with Andy Story) on the famous Spivey label, founded by the even more famous Victoria Spivey.
Then I moved to PA and played up and down the east coast with Mike Dugan. We opened up for many major recording artists including three times for B.B. King.
When I left that band I played a few gigs and some festivals with Adam. In 2008 we headlined Mundharmonikalive in Klingenthal, Germany, where Adam taught a harmonica workshop, and we lived like kings for a week. Recently, we had a great time at Hill Country Harmonica. More to come...

Hi Mr. Hilbert, Sir. (got to be titled sir with a collection of swords of that magnitude... =D )

Anyway, I took u up on that "pause" inside music thing. uploaded 2 vids.... one mentioning tha fact u urged me to put some pause into it...

Have a look at tha vid called 'Babablues' I tried my very best there. To put my skills to the limit of what I am able to, and had in mind the recent tip from you about having REAL pauses in the song... =)

Your Bass lesson are just what I need, plain & to the point. Thx for what you've shown. I'd sure like to see more standards: Sweet Home Chicago, Chain of Fools, So Many Roads, Up On Cripple Creek .... what ever you think a beginer like myself ought to know. I like when you slow down and play with one finger makes it easy to see, Naming the notes you're playing would help too .... anyway thanks again.

ps: i noticed in school years ago that hardy any focus was given to "Barbarians". Except for the period of Romes fall and the rise of the Holy Roman Empire. i never heard of Boudicca in class or Arminius. i had to buy books and watch tv to get that info! and there was not a word in class about what Charlemaigne did to the pagan community west of Paris and across the Rhine. he was no saint !! quite the opposite!

Observation on Revolution. No matter the righteousness of a cause, there is always an extremist element within. Therefore, all idealist's must beware the ghost's of Jean Paul Marat and Maximillian Robespierre!

History! i like it, its important! if i had degrees id teach using music as well as the basic factual info. seeing an image of an ancient person is one thing, but hearing the music they had brings it to life! i like to dig into the daily lives of the ancients as well as dissect the big shots! :)
