Daniel, the pub thing you mentioned reminds me of the tv show 'Married With Children' I don't know if you ever watched it. Basically, on one episode Al Bundy forms his own religion, and they use beer for their communion LOL Going to a pub isn't all that unreligious these days. Some of my most interesting conversations about religion have been held at a pub. CHEERS!

To answer your question, I'm really not sure anymore. Most people belong to a religion because they see it as part of their cultural upbringing. I even know many Orthodox Christians who believe that religion is just a tradition for family events like Christmas. I like to believe there are many Orthodox who care and take a stand against liberalism, but thats just wishful thinking on my part. The truth of the matter is that corruption will always occur where the truth is being spoken. The devil doesn't sleep.

Unfortunately Daniel, I am suspecting that it is not a "minority" opinion these days. The jurisdiction he belongs to does not disagree with him.

As for the paranormal, I do want to clarify. Unfortunately, the paranormal does lead people astray. Why we called ourselves a "paranormal" society was to address those misleading beliefs (like modern spiritualism) and make people aware that the only true spiritual world is the one defined by God through the prophets and saints of the Holy Bible. I guess I now have enemies from both the Orthodox Church and real occultists. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place. lol

It seems that these days I lack the skills to pick my battles lol
