For decades, I never understood why the Lord showed me the future through my dreams, starting at age 12. However, now I understand that the Lord was masterfully building a case -- line upon line, precept upon precept, if you will -- with "evidence" in my life, in much the same way an expert lawyer skillfully presents his evidence, one exhibit at a time, in order to build his case before a scrutinizing jury.
Without a lifetime of evidence, revealing in detail how God has consistently shown me future events through my dreams -- which all later come true -- surely, it would be difficult indeed for a reader to simply trust the words of a complete stranger, who comes along and boldly proclaims,
"Prepare your heart! Jesus is coming soon!"

Please, let me state here publicly and emphatically that I am neither [nor do I EVER want to be considered] "psychic," "clairvoyant," or someone with "Extra Sensory Perception, " because none of these labels is true.
What I am is a passionate disciple of Jesus Christ. I love and serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I believe the Person of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the fulfillment of the Messianic promise to the Jewish people. I serve at His pleasure.
And this, I think, is the difference between a "pysyhic" and a disciple of Christ who, in obedience, simply does his or her best to speak forth as accurately as possible what they believe the Lord has shown them -- while being very careful never to make themselves "the main attraction." As John the Baptist said, "I must decrease, and He [Yeshua/Jesus] must increase."
