I'm sad, only because I wish this section on my YouTube channel was long enough for me to keep a diary. It's not, so I will have to delete previous excerpts as I go along. If anyone wants to read my YouTube Diary, they will have to keep up with me. I shall make more videos soon and I shall save the YouTube Diaries as I go, compiling the entries into a work.
I am in Newtown, CT. and more focused than I have been in a long, long time. I have started writing a new novel. I want to reveal the title, as it is quite potent, but I don't want to give it away. I am already in love, 22 pages in.
I was in NYC on Tuesday, returning tomorrow. I can't wait to get back there again, and again and again. I am hell-bent on publishing and plan to spend as much time in NYC as possible over the moments, months, years to come.
The exorcism worked, I report with satisfaction. The evil component of the EVIL LOVE equation has evaporated, although the love is intact more than ever before. That part surprised me, but, then, we have always surprised one another, and continued to be surprised by the element of surprise we have managed to keep alive.
I was silly to believe that he did not love me; truthfully, I never did. It was all part of the act. It is all an act, yet, one so much truer than real life.
I am more inspired to live my life as art than ever before. I finally got a copy of JUST KIDS by PATTI SMITH in my hands in a bookstore in Grand Central Station, as we were heading back to Connecticut early Wednesday morning. I devoured the book in 48 hours as it devoured me. "Oh, Patti!" Now I know why Robert Mapplethorpe said that so many times to her throughout their life together. "Oh, Patti."
I sobbed this morning as I put it down. She touched me like Manhattan and I just want more.
More. I have to have more.
Now I will do a gentle, modified version of Soul Yoga with Govindas. My first yoga session in seven weeks. Lord, there is a lot to love about life.
