"Ninety percent of the difficulty in your intellectual life would never have happened if you just had better taste." -Terence mcKenna
About Me:
Who's to tell?
Is my paradigm is as yours is as well?
Are our realities held in subjectivity?
Could it be, we're all sections of the cone of infinity?
But, humble post-chimps, I fear we can't tell -
Seems like most can't discern heaven from hell.
So, what with my primitive and limited perception
am I to know of real "truth" and it's essence?
I don't really have much of a story.
I feel that as long as I've been conscious, I've just been fumbling through life on my own corrupted witts; searching for a something that I can't ever seem to find.
I believe we are all epistemologically fucked - we don't actually know anything; yet seem to need to act like we do.
All we truly know is our own sense data - everything else is just tired opinion, and not actually true. So, try to bear that in mind next time you start to act all upity n' shit.
xD

Books:
Friedrich Nietzsche. WILLIAM S. BURROUGHS!!! (and work by the rest of the 'Beat' Poets, I guess(but they ain't shit without Burroughs)) The Hermetic Corpus, Plato's Phaedrus (for the love of "GOD"(/s?)!!!! Read Phaedrus!!!), SYMPOSIUM (oh yes), The Death of Socrates (oh my...) & Republic (Socrates is THE man), Nietzsche ! J. L. Austin's How to do Things With Words, Carl Jung's Psychology of the Transference, Zbigniew Brzezinkski's Grand Chessboard & 'The Choice: Global Domination/Global Leadership, The Gift of Fear (Gavin deBecker). Bits and pieces of Aristotle (as I consider myself somewhat of a rhetor), The Tao Teh Ching. I've read bits and pieces of the Bible, the Koran, and the Tibetan Book of the Dead. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn & Tom Sawyer (Mark Twain is FUCKING class), Crime and Punishment, the Idiot (Fyodor Dosytyevsky), Dracula, The Western Lands (Burroughs), Naked Lunch (I like Burroughs' short stories/essays, too - 'Immortality' is particularly good), Ham on Rye (in fact! anything by Charles Bukowski), The short stories of H. P. Lovecraft, The writings of Aldous Huxley, Philip K Dick (The KING of sci-fi), Vladamir Nabokov (Lolita is one of the most amazing things ever written), Robert Anton Wilson is a funny son of a bitch (I love all of what I've read of his work), James Joyce is a fucking nutcase (brilliantly so), Voltaire is pretty interesting (I'm not wild about him, though), Robert Heinlein (Can you grok it???), Terence "The Bard" mcKenna is someone I couldn't fail to mention (THE Terence), Rick Strassman's DMT: The Spirit Molecule was VERY interesting (but, I feel Dr Strassman's scientific and Buddhist biases and beliefs - and fear of buddhist 'excummunication' - negatively affected the research; which I kind of hate him for), Brian Greene (makes quantum phsysics understandable to laymen such as myself), Nikolai Gogol (pre-Dostoyevski russian fiction; awesome), History books of whatever sort;although all history is hearsay; as it is merely text on a page. I like some poetry; though not much. The rhetorical/philosophical notions espoused by Foucault, Deluze, & Merleau-Ponte. I enjoy many of the ideas espoused by Hericlitus, Zeno, & the rest of those whacky pre-Socratics. I still rifle through the dictionary every so often; following the leads; I've not once yet found any meaning; it's like walking in circles. I like knowing about "the Law"; I read into statues when I'm in enough of a good mood to read some horrible tedious shit in oder to find a little more out about the mechanics of the fictional beast - AKA: the 'state' - that apparently operates in my immediate environment; Although, I now know it's just a bunch of people mascarading as a fiction in order to scam other people out of... well, too much to tell. I'm supposed to be talking about books, FFS! xD Read reality! It's content is writing you, as you - and your actions - write it. Read all things. Understand. But, FIRST! Understand the only real fact... and, that is: YOU KNOW NOTHING.
