This one has a bit of a history.
The local Goth Club had a habit of Over-playing certaiun songs. Like, OBSCENELY so. One of the songs was 'Spilling Blood', by Necessary Response. So, in an attempt to troll the club, I took the song and replaced most of the audio clip therein with Duke Nukem clips, producing the fine product you hear to the left.
I submitted it to a DJ I know who played said club, and he agreed to play it.
Now, I was hoping to get them outraged. Angry. Afterall, I had just taken their overly serious anthem and turned it into a teme of RIDICULE, pointing out not only that they take themselves too seriously, but also that they're by and large a bunch of pricks, with a few exceptions.
They loved it.
Fucking...fuck. My plan backfired. Entirely. They play it WEEKLY. It played at AX. People ask for it. I am torn between unintended success and FAILURE.
