I'm one of those people who was born in the wrong generation. I missed it two, maybe three times. I should have been there to see Hank and Lefty, or Haggard and Jones. I would have even settled to see Strait back when he was performing "Am I Blue" and "All My Exes Live In Texas" while they were still freshly cut.

However I live in the Youtube Era. I sometimes do feel that "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" in an age where it seems country music has been Hi-jacked by the men in suits who feel the need to meet an ever increasing cash quota. If you are one of those who gets off on Rascall Flats, Kenny Chesney, and Kieth Urban, more power to you. At least someone besides the record companies are profiting from the destruction of... Well I'll stop there. You know how I feel about it.

And while my radio preference has turned from the alternative-pop-rock-country to rock or rap (as much of a similar position as they may be), my heart still beats Country. I hope to find, and subscribe to the best acts and cover artists of what I feel are the saviors of a dying genre.

You won't find me vlogging here about my day, or the problems of the world. I won't bore you with long introductions and excuses for missing perfection, but you will find one young heart's attempt to Keep Country Real.

Some people sing for the money. Some sing for the fame. The rest of us sing for the love.
