No matter if you are a far-left, centre, or far right on the political spectrum, no matter whether you support conservatives, labour, UKIP, SNP, and BNP etc. It does not matter what your religion or race is. If you believe in our Monarchy, in our Royal Family, then you are more than welcome to join this group because this is what monarchy does - it unites us even if we have different opinions on different matters.

Having grown up with a monarch, we find it comforting, reassuring, a sign that there is some continuity with the solid established values of the past? Many Britons find the idea of a US style President off-putting, although a British president would not hold anything like the same power. Holding on to the monarchy also reinforces the British sense of being a bit different, eccentric even, of not following the crowd.
The monarchy is the best thing about our country. We are a nation whose monarch has inspired the country in the worst of times. Elizabeth I defied Spain, the most powerful country at the time and gave her people the choice of religion. After the tyranny of Oliver Cromwell, it was the monarchy the public turned to restore order. In more modern events the people of Britain decided not to join the nazis and the rest is history. The public also didn't want communism - power to the people failed once again. Most european countries pick and choose what suits them but the British public are loyal. They know who will look out for them, who will stop any evil government from abusing its power and preserve the heritage of this country for years to come. This is what makes Britain great and the monarchy has played, is playing and hopefully in the future will play a part to fight evil and protect the intrests of the British.
Those who wish to see the abolition of the Monarchy argue that a Republic is a better alternative. Nothing could be further from the truth. The idea that a Republic is democratic is nonsensical, if we were to become the Republic of Great Britain our head of state would be appointed by parliament and our President would be 100% political. The 'people' would not get a vote at all! Further more those who argue that the Queen being an unelected figure is dangerous, tyranical or autocratic contradict themselves by saying the Queen doesn't have any real power...so what's the probelm? Then we come onto the subject of the Queen 'not doing anything' '...but she doesn't do anything' they ignorantly winge.
Yes, there is room for improvement in the Monarchy because no, it is not perfect but then what in the world is perfect? However, it sure is better than any British Republic.
Above all, this group is dedicated to someone who has vowed to give her soul to her country and the commonwealth and she vows to do so, until the day she dies, QUEEN ELIZABETH II. How many Prime Ministers we had who have agreed to give their life to their country? To serve through good times and bad and not to resign or quit? For 58 years, she has done her best as Queen. She has never complained or forgotten her role or given up hope with the British People and the Commonwealth. That is something truly remarkable. As Sir Roy once said, "...she endowed the nation with a sense of stability through a period of tempestuous change. We have taken it all for granted - and I think we will not realise how extraordinary she has been until she is gone."
