Everyone agrees that innovation is good. But where does innovation come from? In this keynote address, 'In
Search of a Better Problem', Google's Executive Chairman, Eric E. Schmidt, argues that all innovation is the result
of solving big problems. As leaders look for solutions to the economic crisis, they must recall the founding
principles of the European project, and focus on addressing the long-term challenges facing society.

maintained a unique culture of innovation under his leadership.
