My cousin, Heather had cancer during her teen years. I was really really sad because i thought she was in a lot of pain. god knows what she felt like. but now at the age of 23 she is still alive and living life to the fullest. I look up to you. You really make me feel better. I love you.

My mom had ovarian cancer, I was there for all her treatments and I was even there for the day when she shaved her head. I felt so bad, but she was so incredible- she went upstairs and went into her room. I wasn't sure what she was up to. After a few minutes she called down the stairs for me. When I looked up she was wearing a silly hat and holding her ears out and puffing out her cheeks. We laughed so hard! I'll never forget that day!
So, I guess I just wanted to say, even in the hardest of times, you can make some humor out of it and laugh. It can be such a precious memory. :)
Peace and Love, Niki
