Its much more than deathmatch in the MP portion, there are 8 game-modes plus teamplay in over half those variants.

No, for different limitation reasons split screen is not possible with our game. However someone crafty could probably lan computers with an LCD screen each all next to each other/stacked forming a 4man TV setup that would look exactly like split screen.
