I am a Christian, and the reason I post comments on your page is because I was raised to love all those in this world. So, I love you... and I pray that you come to know the Truth, before it is too late. Choosing not to believe in anything, is still a choice to not believe in God, which ultimately your end will be eternal death. Jesus died on the cross for everyone, not just me, He had you on His mind as well. Salvation is yours too. Everyone is going to live forever, just make sure you have the right address. Please God soften her heart to your Word, and let her understand the love You have for her. Amen

Why is it that, even when asked very very nicely, Christians still insist on proselytizing at me? Such atrocious manners. One must wonder exactly how they were raised, and by whom...

Dear God,I believe Jesus died on the cross so I could be forgiven of my sins and have eternal life in heaven.I believe He rose from the grave. Please forgive me of my sins. Lord Jesus, come and take control of my life. Help me to live for you. Thank you for hearing me and for saving me. I accept the precious gift of eternal life and repent of my sins. In the name of Jesus I pray.-Amen-

Religion SUCKS! It's not about RELIGION -it's about a RELATIONSHIP with God! www.NOTReligion.com

Look, it's not about what I'd rather believe. It's about reality. I might RATHER believe in Thor or Quetzalcoatl, but that doesn't mean I should just because I think it'd be nice. "For me, it is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring" -Carl Sagan.

I've typed up part of a novel for you. I've made my stance clear. Now please... PLEASE... respect my wishes and do NOT post anything on my comments section advocating the superiority, workability and/or glory of your faith/messiah/deity. I won't go to your userpage and post anything about non-belief and you won't come here and post about your beliefs. That's what I'm asking.

If you post ANY more messages that I've asked you not to post, I WILL delete them.

If you think that it would be impossible to improve upon the Ten Commandments as a statement of morality, you really owe it to yourself to read some other scriptures. ... Mahavira, the Jain patriarch, surpassed the morality of the Bible with a single sentence: "Do not injure, abuse, oppress, enslave, insult, torment, torture or kill any creature or living being". Imagine how different our world might be if the Bible contained this as its central precept. Christians have abused, oppressed, enslaved, insulted, tormented, tortured & killed people in the name of God for centuries, on the basis of a theologically defensible reading of the Bible. It is impossible to behave this way by adhering to the principles of Jainism.

How, then, can you argue that the Bible provides the clearest statement or morality the world has ever seen?

--Letter to a Christian Nation by Sam Harris

The 10 commandments? No. The first four of these injunctions have nothing whatsoever to do with morality. They simply forbid the practice of any non-Judeo-Christian faith, most religious art, utterances like "God damn it!," and all ordinary work on the Sabbath - all under penalty of death. We might well wonder how vital these precepts are to the maintenance of civilization.

Commandments 5 through 9 do address morality, [but] admonishments of this kind are found in virtually every culture throughout recorded history. There is nothing especially compelling about their presentation in the Bible.
