I first set up this channel to showcase my music - I compose and perform classical guitar music. Then I thought, "Why not throw in the funny Stooge Fu video for a laugh?" Then it was "Maybe people would like to see our cottage" followed by "This is a funny video of our cat!"; "This is a great story of how we rescued the Monarch butterfly"; "Let's do a slideshow of some nature photos and add my music"... So basically, you'll find on my channel something for just about everyone. I hope you enjoy the variety.

If you like my music, you can download it on most on-line services (iTunes, Napster, etc) or purchase one of my cds through the link below to CD Baby. Be sure to check out my website, too: geraldboy.com Now here's the official bio...
About Me:

Gerald was born in France in 1948, and emigrated to Toronto with his parents in 1956. His musical career started with a high school rock band in which Gerald played lead guitar. Then, between 1967 and 1969, he traveled around Ontario playing for the rock band Hudsun Bay Company.

Over the next sixteen years, Gerald alternated between satisfying his spiritual and his material needs, travelling across Canada and the United States.

In 1987, Gerald married and set up home in Midland, Ontario. The stability of marriage and the love of a supportive wife provided the impetus for Gerald to start a career designing and making unique, top-quality furniture, which he did between 1990 and 1998.

In 1996, a friend made a suggestion that would start yet another career; he suggested that Gerald brush up on his classical guitar skills.

Gerald studied theory and classical guitar techniques through the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Ontario. In 1998, he combined his musical and furniture-making skills, and made his own classical guitar.

In 2000, Gerald started writing his own music, with the end result being his first album, released in December 2000. This album, Medieval Cottage Songs, won the Ottawa Valley Music Association "Instrumental of the Year Award" in 2001 for the composition "Killaloe".

Gerald's second album, "The Colours of Life" was released in December 2002, and won the Ottawa Valley Music Association "Instrumental Release of the Year" award in 2003.

Gerald's third album "My New Guitar" was released in November 2004. In addition to producing these albums, Gerald also built four more guitars, composed enough songs for a fourth and fifth album (each with seventeen compositions on it); has started composing songs for his sixth album and has completed making his seventh guitar.
